Nortech Exhibits at Parkex

parkexParkex 2007 will see the launch of Nortech Control Systems’ new IdentiPark intelligent parking guidance system. The bay monitoring system is used to streamline parking management.

What is IdentiPark?

All the parking spaces within a car park facility are monitored by individual IdentiPark Sensors to establish if the space is occupied or vacant. The data is relayed to a computer where it is processed and the location of the vacant parking spaces identified. This information is then relayed to motorists via intersection guidance displays, which direct them to these available spaces.

The system incorporates a comprehensive software package for report generation and analysis. Additional LED colours can be assigned for certain spaces (allocated to different companies, reservations, etc.)

Benefits of the Identipark system include:

  • Reduction in time taken to find an available space
  • Increased occupancy of the facility
  • Reduction in toxic carbon emissions
  • Low power consumption through switching regulation
  • Makes parking comfortable and a more enjoyable experience

Parkex is on at the NEC, Birmingham on 17th - 19th April 2007. For more information on IdentiPark visit stand P86 or phone 01633 485 533.
