The KPW26 slimline, vandal proof and weatherproof keypad is ideal for both internal and external access control applications. It is constructed as a rugged, sealed, one-piece unit with no moving parts.
The KPW26 is designed to be used with a standard access controller. When a number of keys are pressed followed by the ‘#’ (enter) key, a standard 26-bit Wiegand output is sent to the controller in the same way that a card reader sends a card number. A pre-configured site code is also sent. It has additional features such as buffered output control, tamper alarm and video control output.
