Sales Engineer Position

A vacancy exists for a suitably qualified and experienced person to play a key part in expanding the company’s sales in the RFID reader sector. Established in 1987 and operating from Cwmbran, South Wales, Nortech designs and manufactures electronic access control and parking systems. The position involves the following:

• Identifying and pursuing new customer opportunities in the electronic security and parking equipment industry.
• Identifying and pursuing means of increasing sales to existing customers.

The successful applicant will typically have the following skills:

• Educated to a minimum of HNC or equivalent, preferably in an engineering discipline.
• Must have extensive previous experience in the electronic security industry, e.g. Engineering/Product Management/Sales.
• PC Literate and commercial awareness
• Full driving licence.
• Confidence and good interpersonal skills.

Although Nortech is an electronics company, in-depth knowledge of electronics is not required.  A broad knowledge of software systems and electronic products is however desirable.
