Nortech offers a range of products that are able to identify individual vehicles while they are moving through a monitoring point. These systems can be used in combination with our access control products as a means of validating vehicles as they approach a vehicle barrier at the entrance or exit of a controlled area. The vehicles carry RF tags or transponders that are detected by special readers at the side of the road. Once detected, the access control system can record the vehicles movements as well as grant permission to enter or exit a site.
