Nortech manufactures a family of proximity readers and smart card readers capable of reading a wide range of 125kHz and 13.56MHz type proximity cards and tokens. Although we supply an extensive range of cards, fobs and tokens, our readers will also support most existing third party cards and tokens. Our range of Proximity Card Readers can read many card formats including EM4100, EM4102, Hitag1 and Hitag2, Paxton and PAC, whilst our range of Smart Card Readers supports both Mifare and LEGIC as well as reading serial numbers for most smart card types. Together with their compatibility with most access controllers, this makes them an ideal choice for new access control installations, extending existing installations and for supporting the use of existing cards and tokens in new access control applications.

Nortech offers a variety of 13.56MHz smart card readers in a range of housings. As a LEGIC partner, Nortech manufactures readers for use with LEGIC Prime and LEGIC advant® credentials. Nortech also supplies a range of HID iCLASS readers and credentials, Mifare sector readers and serial number readers for 13.56MHz technologies.
