'Securing the Traffic Flow'
Robust long-range reader, based on semi active RFID technology, which enables automatic vehicle identification at distances of up to 10 metres and speeds of up to 125 mph.
PRODUCT FEATURES & BENEFITS
The TRANSIT Ultimate is designed to perform well in both high security applications and demanding vehicular access control applications, under harsh environmental conditions.
The TRANSIT Ultimate offers the highest level of security and convenience for both vehicles and drivers. The built-in antenna, an integrated read range adjustment board and a variety of communication interfaces ensure seamless and flexible integration. The identification lobe of the reader is a directed beam, offering precise determination of the detection area. A second RFID communication channel is used for advanced bidirectional communication and secure tag authentication.

High-Security Vehicle and Driver Identification for Critical Infrastructure
The TRANSIT Ultimate delivers simultaneous vehicle and driver identification for environments where security cannot be compromised. Airports, seaports, military installations, and mining operations rely on this reader to verify that authorised vehicles are operated by authorised personnel—preventing tailgating and credential sharing at critical access points.
With read ranges up to 15 metres and vehicle speeds up to 200 km/h, the TRANSIT Ultimate eliminates bottlenecks at high-throughput gates while maintaining rigorous security protocols. The AES-encrypted authentication prevents tag cloning and replay attacks, making it the definitive choice for facilities requiring defence-grade vehicle access control.
Dual ID
Simultaneously identifies both vehicle and driver credentials in a single transaction for maximum security assurance.
High Speed
Reads vehicles travelling up to 200 km/h, enabling seamless access without forcing traffic to slow down.
AES Encryption
Military-grade tag authentication prevents cloning and replay attacks at high-security perimeters.
OSDP v2
Secure channel communication with access controllers meets modern cybersecurity requirements.
Up to 15 metres when used with Compact Button tags. The read range can be adjusted on-site to suit specific lane configurations and prevent cross-reads between adjacent lanes.
Yes, when paired with Booster tags that combine long-range vehicle ID with HID Prox, MIFARE, iClass, or LEGIC driver credentials, both identities are verified in a single transaction.
RS232 (default), RS422/485, TCP/IP, and OSDP v2 with secure channel communication. Wiegand and Magstripe outputs are also supported for legacy system integration.
Yes, the IP66-rated housing operates reliably from -30°C to +66°C and withstands rain, snow, and ice exposure.
The optional Security Key Pack enables AES128-encrypted bidirectional communication between readers and tags, preventing cloning and replay attacks on Ultimate tags and Boosters.
