Nortech's Feemaster Smart software is a parking management software which runs on a standard specification PC and communicates with an attendants console via a USB/RS485 adaptor and interface cable. The cable plugs into a socket on the rear of the console and can be temporarily connected for configuration and for downloading the transaction log, or it can be permanently connected where constant transaction monitoring is required.

The program enables the administrator to add, remove and modify authorised users, gather data on past transactions, configure tariff programs and rates, and configure how the console operates. This includes what is printed on receipts and exit tokens and what appears on the customer fee display.

This compact desktop unit enables receptionists to process visitor parking fees quickly and accurately, calculating charges automatically based on configurable tariffs while encoding Mifare smart cards that grant exit access. The system eliminates manual fee calculation errors and ensures consistent revenue collection across multiple operators.

Deployed at front desks, security lodges and attendant booths, the console seamlessly integrates with existing workflows. Receptionists scan entry tickets to verify arrival times, collect appropriate fees, and issue smart cards or barcode exit tokens in seconds. Can multiple staff members use the console?

Yes, up to 9 individual users can be set up with unique logins. Administrators have full control over access rights, and all transactions are logged against the operator who processed them for accountability.

What outputs can the console produce?

The console can encode Mifare smart cards for reusable access, print barcode exit tokens for single-use exit, and print customer receipts. It can also control a till drawer and send signals to barriers or turnstiles.

Does the console require connection to a PC?

No, the console operates standalone with its built-in 4-line LCD display and membrane keypad. However, it can be connected to a PC via RS485 for extended tariff management and transaction analysis when required.

What power supply does the console need?

The console operates on 12V DC and includes an in-line mains power adaptor. It can also supply power to a connected barcode scanner via its RS232 interface.
