Intelligent Card Control for High-Security Access Points
The MRC350 card capture reader transforms standard access control installations into intelligent card management systems, ideal for environments requiring strict credential lifecycle control.
Deploy it in corporate campuses managing visitor passes, health clubs tracking membership cards, conference centres controlling event access, or parking facilities validating temporary permits.
This OEM-ready unit integrates seamlessly into pedestals, turnstiles, and custom housings where single-use or time-limited cards require automatic recovery. Hospitals use it to capture expired staff credentials, golf clubs retrieve seasonal membership cards at end-of-term, and fuel management sites control contractor access cards.
The motorised mechanism reads card data, communicates with your existing access controller, then either returns valid cards or captures expired, stolen, or blacklisted credentials into a secure internal hopper.
Card Recovery
Automatically captures expired, stolen, or single-use cards to maintain credential security
Multi-Technology
Supports any ISO proximity or smart card format via integrated third-party readers
OEM Integration
Compact design fits pedestals, turnstiles, and custom housings for seamless installation
LED Feedback
Visual indicators communicate card acceptance or rejection status instantly to users
The MRC350 supports any ISO standard proximity or smart card technology through integrated third-party readers. This includes 125kHz proximity cards, Mifare, DESFire, and other contactless formats. The transparent data forwarding ensures compatibility with your existing access control system.
The motorised card mechanism operates at 80cm/s feeding speed, providing rapid card processing. The DC motor delivers reliable performance with current draw of just 50mA at rest, increasing to 1.5A during active capture or return operations.
Yes, the MRC350 is designed for integration with existing third-party access control systems. It transparently forwards card data to your controller via Wiegand or similar interfaces. The controller then sends voltage-free closed contact signals to instruct capture or return operations.
The MRC350 operates in temperatures from 0°C to +50°C with humidity tolerance of 0-90% (non-condensing). Storage specifications allow temperatures from -20°C to +70°C. These parameters make it suitable for climate-controlled indoor environments and protected outdoor housings.
The unit accepts standard ISO cards measuring 86 x 54mm (ISO/IEC7810 ID-1). Card thickness should be between 0.6mm and 1mm for reliable mechanical operation. Non-standard card sizes or thicknesses may cause feeding issues.
