NCT200 Online Counter Module
NCT200
'Modular Online Counting '
Four-channel counting system that can be used as part of a count management system by linking it to the server PC of the count management system. It can also operate in standalone mode.
PRODUCT FEATURES & BENEFITS
The NCT200 can be networked to a server via either RS485 or TCP/IP as a part of a count management system. The outputs from the NCT200 can be controlled directly from the software to support centralised control of signs, alarms, door/barrier control arming, etc.
In standalone mode it operates in exactly the same way as the NCT100.
benefits
- Simple, cost effective means of providing count management for a wide range of applications and any size of car park
- Count values are stored in non-volatile memory to guard against temporary loss of power
- Extremely flexible - a single module can provide up to 4 counters or one counter with up to 4 increment and 4 decrement inputs
- Powerful VMS driving capability. Can provide up to 8 count outputs when online (assigned in count management software).

Network-Ready Counting Module for Centralised Parking and Venue Management
The NCT200 combines the autonomous capability of the NCT100 with full network connectivity, making it the essential building block for NorParc and NorVenue count management systems. Deployed at entry lanes, exit points and inter-level transitions throughout multi-storey car parks, stadiums and large venues, each module captures count data locally while transmitting to the central management software for facility-wide visibility.
Network connection via RS485 or TCP/IP enables centralised control of all alarm outputs and sign values, allowing the management software to coordinate responses across the entire facility. When operating standalone, the NCT200 functions identically to the NCT100, providing a seamless upgrade path as requirements grow. The expanded VMS capability—supporting up to eight sign addresses when online—enables complex signage strategies with level-specific messaging controlled from a single interface.
Networkable
Connects to NorParc or NorVenue via RS485 or TCP/IP for centralised management.
8 VMS
Drives up to 8 variable message sign addresses when connected to count management software.
Dual Mode
Operates standalone like NCT100 or networked as part of a larger counting system.
Remote Control
Alarm outputs and sign values can be controlled centrally from management software.
The NCT200 adds network connectivity to integrate with NorParc or NorVenue software, plus supports 8 VMS addresses (vs 4) when online. In standalone mode it operates identically to the NCT100.
The NCT200 connects via RS485 communications port, or can connect to TCP/IP networks using the optional NCT200-TCP-ENC version with integrated TCP/IP interface.
NCT200 (module only), NCT200-48-ENC (with enclosure and 12V DC PSU), and NCT200-TCP-ENC (with enclosure, PSU and TCP/IP interface).
Yes, count values are stored locally in non-volatile memory and the module continues operating autonomously. Data synchronises when the network connection is restored.
Both software packages support up to 32 NCT200 counting modules, providing a total of 128 physical counters for large multi-level facilities or venues.
